Jeff Bezos admits to invest much of his fortune in space technology
CEO, Jeff Bezos, has a company called Blue Moon, with which he intends to explore space and exploit its potential.

What could be the ambitions of the richest man in the whole world? For someone like Jeff Bezos, who is Amazon‘s CEO and who owns the most enviable fortune on the planet, his dreams can point to what is outside of him. In other words, wanting to not only achieve but take advantage of what is in outer space.

Evidently Amazon is not the only company owned by Jeff Bezos. However, there is one in particular that has been operating since 2000. It is Blue Origin, the aerospace transport company to which the tycoon increasingly invests his efforts and money.

We humans have to go to space if we are going to continue to have a prosperous civilization. We have become large as a population, as a species, and this planet is relatively small. We see it in things like climate change and pollution and heavy industry. We are in the process of destroying this planet. And we have sent robotic probes to all the planets of the solar system: this is the good one. So, we have to preserve this planet. “

A change in the productive model

For Jeff Bezos, space exploration is not meant to leave the Earth. He insists that this planet must be saved because it is obviously the best place to live.

But then why would we explore? From the entrepreneur’s point of view, the objects we make could begin to be created in space:

We send things to space, but all those things are made on Earth. Eventually, it will be much cheaper and simpler to do really complicated things, such as microprocessors and so on, in space and then send those complex highly complex objects to Earth. This is so that we do not have the big factories and pollution-generating industries that do those things now on the planet. The land can be used as a residential area. “

Of course, Bezos does not believe that this will be possible very soon. Perhaps this takes more than 100 years, but this does not seem to stop the ambitions of someone who has the intentions of taking the human being into space. We are talking about not only doing tourism, but exploring beyond where we have come from.
